Problem customizing skins

I tried to modify the original Olive skin, by using the SkinCustomizationKit.
First I just extracted the original skin and rebuild it without doing any changes. The result is shown in the attachment "console1.gif". :confused:
After that I changed the "console.gif" with the one from the SkinCustomizationKit. The result does not look even better! (see attachment console2.gif). :eek:
The left, lower corner of the dialog, where the branding is placed, does not fit to the size of the bottom image! :mad:
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

The 'console.gif' should be 772 x 59 @ 256 colours.

Try looking at the skin.ini settings.

If you like, I can have a look at your skin and see if I can compile it for you or I can supply one I have compiled using one of the samples that you may look at and get an idea.(in English though) :)

I modified the original console.gif to the size 772x59, now it looks a little bit better.
But I wonder why the original gif I extracted from the original skin does not have the right size!
