I have a .NET application that requires Windows Message Queuing (MSMQ) for operation. Is there a way to install MSMQ along with the application using InstallShield? Or, do I need to have the user install MSMQ using the ‘Add or Remove Programs’ -> ‘Add/Remove Windows Component’ -> ‘Windows Component Wizard’?

There is no redist that you can wire up because it's a windows system component. If you can ensure the customer has their CD handy, then you can always call Sysocmgr with the write command line arguments ( and INI file if I recall ) to automate installing it.

Otherwise just write a system search / launch condition that aborts the install with a message telling the user to install it if it's not installed.
