When i tried to uninstall a game on my comp, i got the error

An error (-5004 : 0x485) has occured while running the setup

Details:

You sounded like an end-user of the game you tried to uninstall.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to help you fix the problem. If you are certain the game vendor uses InstallShield product to create their installation, you can try finding a solution Consumer Central (http://consumer.installshield.com/). In any case, your best bet is to contact the game vendor, and ask for technical support.

I have the same issue here.

Any help is appreciated! By the way, it's for several applications, not any games.

Alas! The suggestion will be the same.

If you are certain the software (application) vendor uses InstallShield product to create their installation, you can try finding a solution at Consumer Central (http://consumer.installshield.com/). In any case, your best bet is to contact the software vendor, and ask for technical support.
