According to the documentation there are RSS feeds of all forums at:

http://community.installshield.com/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=44

Where 44 is te forum-ID (AdminStudio in this case).

But that doesn't seem to work. Are RSS feeds disabled? WHY?

Kind regards,

Rene

Rene,

We recently upgraded the forums to vBulletin 3.0.3. The previous version we were running did not have the RSS Syndication feature. We have enabled RSS Syndication so you should be able to use it now.

Sorry for reopening such an old thread... but I was searching for information on how to follow new posts in some forums using RSS and found this thread. While adding the subscription to the respective subforums as indicated in the previous post I noticed that what I see are actually thread starters... but am I going see new posts added in reply to existing threads?

On another hand, I've noticed something: "Powered by vBulletinĀ® Version 3.6.4" According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VBulletin#vBulletin_3 "The latest stable release of vBulletin is 3.8.4 PL1 which was released on October 7, 2009, due to an XSS security flaw." Time for an upgrade? (the last upgrade that will be available for version 3 (of course if no other flaw is found)).

pv7721,
I believe you will only be able to see thread starters and not the replies.

Yes, I've seen that after posting my question... There is no way to change that behavior?

I've done some research and checked the settings in the control panel and couldn't find anything that inidicates that this can be changed.
