View Full Version : Mac OSX "desktop shortcut"

Can anyone give me step by step details for implementing a desktop icon shortcut for Mac OSX. And how to make the shortcut display a logo and not a default image. In this case I want to create a shortcut to an html file - index.html. But I want to our graphic to be displayed and not the Safari/html page default graphic in OSX.

I know it is covered in the help section, but I am having real trouble following it.

(Apologies to any Mac users if the question sounds Windows inspired).

Many Thanks

There is a specific bean for Mac OS X shortcuts, so don't use the Shortcuts view. I will clarify this in the HelpLibrary.

Here's a link to the Mac Applications Launcher Help (http://helpnet.installshield.com/Robo/BIN/Robo.dll?tpc=/robo/projects/isxuniversalhelplibrary/platforms/mac/mac_application_launcher.htm) , which is what you need to use instead of a shortcut.

Sorry for the confusion.
