Unfortunately you will have to create your own JVM bundle for IRIX.

You can refer to the following knowledge base article on creating jvm bundles.

Hope this helps.

I tried following the Knowledge base article and I couldn't get it to work. I made the zip file in Windows because I was having issues with zip on my SGI. I transferred the file back to the SGI so I could run cat unzipsfx sunjre141-sgi65-installer.zip sunjre141-sgi65-installer.bin and I got an error "cannot open sun141-sgi65-installer.bin".
So I tried the same thing but this time making a .sh file instead of the bin file and I got the same error. Has anyone else ever seen this? Anyone have an SGI jvm they would like to share?

I haven't tried it myself, but here's another thread on the matter: 133088.

Thanks Robert, I got it figured out, i was trying to use the commands listed in the KB article instead of looking at the commands for the Info-Zip program. I had to specify the zip file name and then use a > to give it the new name. It seems to have worked.
