Now I'm using version 6.0 in visual studio 6.
our company want to upgrade to 7.0.

1. What is the least expensive way to upgrade to version 7.0 developer verion. I hope there is a way to upgrade to ver. 7 since i am using installshield express in VB studio.

2. When I used version 7 trial version to create a installation file. I ended upwith approximately 8files ( setup.exe . isscript .msi .cab . setup.ini, instmsia.exe instmsiw.exe, data1.cab, 0x049.ini). Is there a way to make a single file other than using self extracting WINZIP utility?).

3. How can user add unistall menu in the program menu automatically during installation by executing setup program.

I am forwarding this thread to someone in sales to get in touch with you about upgrade information.

You can create a Compressed Network Image (In the Releases View) to get a Single Setup.exe. For further questions on Developer 7, please make your posts on

NOTE: This is still a non-web newsgroups which requires something like Outlook Express to view.
