Hi,

I've created an IS 2.13 project, and created a setup.exe. When this setup.exe runs on a w2k professionsal (sp2, all patches) pc, it gives a hourglass mouse cursor, then nothing else. I check the task manager, and it created a NTVDE.exe thread, containing setup.exe & wowexec.exe.

What's happening & how do I get this setup.exe to run. Same thing happend when I created from the same project a setupex.exe and ran that.

Thanks

Hi
that's similar to what we observed with our ISX version 2.12 (limited) which came with our Delphi 5 prof.

In the meantime we found out that in the section groups&components&files (or similar- we have German version) there is a property option
'destination plateform', which needs an explicite selections of Windows 2000.

With this selection we get the extraction of the exe and all other files. But now we are still hanging with an error, which we don't get on Win98
maschines. That is access violation 77F832A8 in module ntdll.dll.

Any idea what causes this problem?

Thanks

Herbert
