View Full Version : Can I use the Automation Interface for Universal projects?

I am working with Universal Installer and it seems the Automation Interface only supports the InstallScript projects. (b'coz when i try to open a Universal project using Automation Interface it gives a runtime error as - "Unable to open file...make sure it is a valid InstallShield Developer project").
Does this mean I cannot use this interface for Universal projects or rather any other project types except InstallScript projects??
Is there any other similar interface which provides similar use??

To modify Universal projects, you need to use XSL.
For more information please see the InstallShield X Universal help Library (search for key words "command line builds") . You will find sample XSL in the XSL directory.
