When I install an app created as a SingleImage install, and then delete a random file installed by the app, then attempt to repair the installation via the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs dialog, the Windows Installer looks in the user's temp directory for <App>.msi, and complains that it can't find it. Of course it can't; it should be looking for the all-enclosing Setup.exe. Is there some way I can make it do this? Or disable the repair feature for SingleImage installs?

Win2K SP1 (and probably others), ISX 3.03.

This is a bug with Express 3.03. This has been fixed in 3.5x. In 3.5x we give you the functionality to cache the msi in a Temporary location so that when the "Repair" function needs it, it will be available.

I don't remember whether there is a Workaround though. Someone else on this board might have an answer though.
