View Full Version : command line build options - path variable?

Hi there,

I am building the project using "isCmdBld".

I wonder if I can pass it the option of a path variable?

Our nightly build system has outputs in a folder named by date, eg. 2004-06-07

In my project file, I have a path var <SRC_ROOT> which is then need to be updated daily to grab from the latest nightly build.

I search the helpnet and found that the Universal installer has this option and wonder if Windows installer comes with it?

There is no command line option, however you could base your path variable on an environment variable. Then as a part of your build process use the SET command to set the environment variable.

you mean, I can, eg.

set SRC_ROOT="x:\2004-06-8"
and then run the build?

Yep. But you first need to set the path variable type to "Environment" in the IDE.

It works.
