Hi all,

Thanks in advance for your help on this.

I have just released a beta version of a product of ours, the install package for which is a Dev Studio (9) installscript project, and one of our clients is getting the above error.

He also gets a negative, COM like, error message which aparently translates to "Class not registered". The IS Project has been set up to include the InstallScript and extract from setup. I suspect that version 9 of the Installscript functionality is not installing correctly on his machine because after the attempted install, the target machine does not have a "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\9" folder unlike a machine we've checked with a good install.

He's tried the fix instructions in the relevant 'consumer central' document to know avail, and even when he tries to install ISScript.msi he still doesn't get a "9" folder on his machine!!!

Could anyone help me out here????

Thanks,

oo
