View Full Version : calling other java classes from a custom dialog.

If you use the Dialog Editor to create a custom dialog, but within that dialog you need to perform actions that are handled by another java class (which you then want to ensure is packaged in setup.jar) do you still override the build method and use putClass()? And if so, where do you do so?

Currently, this is a limitation of dialogs created with the dialog editor. There is no build method with these dialogs. If you need to build classes into the archive, then created a new wizard action. Override the build method of this wizard action, and use putClass to build any required classes into the archive. I have created a new work order requesting that this functionality be added.

And thanks also for posting the bug (feature enhancement). :)
