I am new to InstallShield and I believe my question is very basic.

My install program creates a directory on the target PC and copy some files into the directory. the install program requires local administrator's privilege to run. After the installation finished, the directory created by the installation has the security attrbute settings like this (also files under the directory):

users with Administrator rights: full control
users as Power user rights: read/write/modify/execute
users as User rights: read/execute

How can I set the security attribute for the directory & the files to:

users as User rights: read/write/modify/execute

Any help is very much appreciated

You can use Direct Editor to author LockPermissions table. For examples, please look up LockPermissions in InstallShield Knowledge Base (http://support.installshield.com/kb/).
