<newbie alert>

I want to pass [SUPPORTDIR] to my EXE custom action (a C# .exe file), but can't find anything on this. I see how to do it with a vbs script, but...

I tried the obvious:
myprog.exe [SUPPORTDIR]

as the custom action's command line, but that didn't work... need some prefix or other magic??

Thanks,

Mitch

I am having somewhat of a related issue.
In my case I was looking at the below thread and tried it out. I am trying to run a bat file but would like the DOS window to be closed, in doing so it is run by a custom action - the action triggers files in the [SUPPORTDIR]. On it's own it works perfect, but if I try to use it in conjucntion with a script to keep the DOS window closed it does not. Maybe something in the thread will help you as you are running an exe file.
