Hello!

I would like to save the name of the setup file during the installation process, so that my application can retrieve it. How can I do that?

Thanks a lot in advance.

You can use ProductName property in registry.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Perhaps is needed that I explain myself better:

Instead of distribuying my application with a file named "setup.exe", I am using the naming convention "MyApplicationSetupXX"; where XX correspond to the version of the setup.

That's why I would like to save the name of the setup file in the Registry. So that my application can display it an "About" dialog the name "MyApplicationSetupXX.exe", in order to troubleshoot versioning issues.

If the name stays constant, and XX corresponds to your product version, you can use the following in registry.
MyApplicationSetup[ProductVersion].exe
