Problem with dependecies and merge modelse

I am have a problem creating a project using Developer 7.04. When I select Specify Application Data/Dependecies and Preform Static Scanning I get the following error in the Scanning Progress screen.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error!
Program: c:\Probram Files\InstallShield\Developer\isdev.exe
abnormal program termination.

When I select Specify Application Data/Merge Media and select a Conditional Installation I get the InstallShield Developer needs to close screen. When I click Debug I get:

Unhandled exception in isdev.exe (ISMSIENTITY.DLL) 0xC0000005: Access Violation

Any ideas?

Hi,

Check these threads out. I think they relate to the problem you are having. Something to do with the static scanner not properly registered.
