View Full Version : Disabling Self-repair

11-25-2003, 11:41 AM

I already posted some messages about this subject, but I still have questions. We don't want Self-repair ! I built my project with no keys files to have the self-repair feature disabled. This works well when I delete a file or rename one. The problem occurs when I rename or delete a folder that is part of the installation, the self-repair then starts. I there a way to disable self-repair when renaming folder ? I don't know how, maybe setting values in Direct Editor ? Are folders treated as key files, can we set this ?

I need help please

Hummm what do you mean by should be set to normal ???

On a folder in Installshield, there is only a Directory Identifier, a Source and a Target... Nothing to tell me to disable file protection on it.
