I am using IS Dev7.0 Basic MSI. Does anyone can tell me "How to make my application to be started immediately when Windows starts/reboot? and how to add in Services(Settings - Control Panel - Administrator Tool - Services), so that user can selet start Automatic/Manual?

Thanks in advance.

If you have not, please refer to InstallShield HelpNet (http://documentation.installshield.com) > InstallShield Developer Help Library > View List > Organization > Components > Advanced Settings > Installing NT Services.

I am sure you know you can use registry to start an application upon reboot. If you don't, please see Run and RunOnce Registry Keys (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/setupapi/setup/run_and_runonce_registry_keys.asp).

Thanks for your reply,

I did :

Files -> Launch Wizard Component -> Selected 2nd option(NT Service) and added .exe file.

When i am installing it was added into "Services". But when i restart my system the .exe file is executing and closing immediately, Status was Stopped in the service properties. I tried to run again and clicked "Start", but it is giving error:
" Could not start 'MyServ' service on the Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in timely fashion".

I am unable to fix the problem.
I want to display icon on the windows ToolBar when it is running and remove when it was stopped.
