View Full Version : Non-creation of Paradox aliases in a Delphi 3 install

Has anyone experienced the same or similar to the problems below? If so I
would be happy to know your solution or any thoughts you have.

1) We have been using ISX Pro 1.1 to create Delphi 2 installs for months
now, the aliases allways install correctly and point to the desired paths.

Since upgrading to ISX 2.0, we have been unable to create an alias for a
Delphi 3 install. If an alias already exists we can modify it's path but
we can't create a new alias.

2) After uninstalling a Delphi 3 project, the BDE is removed even if it is
being shared by another application (even if the other application
installed it first).

I have approached IS Technical with the first problem above and have
received no acknowledgement or solution.

Regards

Hi,
These issues should be taken care of with the maintenance releases for
Express.
