We are trying to create a MSI file that will install some .Net Serviced Components into the COM+.
Here is the check list for creating this kind of setup while devstudio is opened.
We are using Windows 2000 Adv. Server and MS framework 1.1.

Basic MSI Project

COM+ Install Process:
1. At Component Services view select COM+Application
2. Check V on the selected application
3. Build the project

The Result on the server
Error: "The wizard was interrupted before the project could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete installation in another time, please run setup again".

you can find attached the Log and MSI file that was created.
We are developing using MS Visual Studio 2003 and MS Framework 1.1

If someone has an idea i will be greatfull
Thanks for your time.

Could you export your COM+ application to a MSI using Component Services Explore and send it to me at hidenoriy@installshield.com? The log indicates that it fails somewhere when cosing your COM+ application, but I cannot figure out what the issue is. So, I would like to reproduce the error in house to determine what is causing it.

Thank you,

Was this issue ever resolved? If so, what's the solution. I have a similar problem.
