We have lots of installs, written by lots of people. Some of them standard, some of them basic, some of them buggy, some of them not so buggy.

We want to make one big install, but I fear that work involved in supporting it will be N*N, where N is the number of components to be installed.

What is the best path to take? We are considering writing scripting code in C++ which calls a lot of installs in sequence.

Hi !

Based on my present experience, I have an application that is very huge and takes a lot of time to compile. Regarding this, I think the best way to do it is having a dialog AskOptions that ask the user which part to install and depending on the part to install, LaunchAppAndWait.

Is your application change in each of your setup ? If no, I think it's better to keep all setup and just update the one that changed.

What do you think ?

Hope this will help you ! :)
