Is not possible to test the installation created with an InstallShield Script project type, like I could with setups I created with Developer 8 and Express 4?

Hi,

When you say "test" do you mean "debug"? Debuggers are available for both MSI and non-MSI project types.

Hi,

You may mean test mode (where the setup is run, but files are not installed). That's also available, but only for any MSI-based setup.

Hi Rich, thanks for you feedback, yes it was the latter test mode where the setup runs but nothing installs. I did wonder if that was only available for MSI installs, well nevermind. I have found the debugger very helpfull in what I have been doing with DevStudio so far.
