I tryed to use the distribute fnction to copy my setup on a FTP server running WS_FTP server.

The folders are corectly created but when devstudio try to copy the files I receive an error message saying I don't have enough rights to write the files.

When I am conected with a FTP server using the same acount I can place files on this folder without any problem.

Any idea what can be the problem

Thanks for your help

What's the exact error message you get? Can you try the ftp command from the DOS prompt and see if that works?

I can add new files in this folder using WS_FTP and the same login without any problem

But not with DevStudio.

I probaly know what is the problem !!!

This FTP server requiere to be accessed in pasive mode.

Is it possible to set DevsStudio to use pasive mode in FTP transfer ?

Passive mode is not supported right now, but I created Work Order #1-FHDCT to implement this in a future release.

My apologies for this and thanks for pointing it out.

When you say this will be fixed in a future release are we refering to a Service Pack or version 10?
