Hi everybody,

I've experienced an error when trying to execute a self-extracting
package created with IS Pro 6.1 and Pfw on a Win2K workstation.

the error message is :

There is not enough space on drive c:\ to extract this package.
Please free up 56.72 Mb and click retry.

In fact c:\ has 4Gb of free disk space.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The self extracter exe extracts the files to the temp folder. Is this happening?

Hi everybody,

I've found a way to solve this bug.

On the Win2K workstation (sp3) the disk was partitioned in two partitions c: and d:.

the paging file was on the second partition ( 1024 Mb).

I've declared a paging file of 100 Mb on partition c:, and now the setup runs properly.

Looks like there is a problem with the operating system when no paging file exists on first partition.

Regards.
