Hello,

I am using InstallShield Pro 6.3. I have created an installation setup using the wizard to install an application onto a pocket pc. I want to be able to edit the script so that nothing is written to the registry or to add/remove programs. i.e. when the setup is displayed, i want the splash screen to display followed by the add/remove program to pocket pc screen. I was able to remove the script from OnMainUIAfter so that they can run the setup multiple times for multiple pocket pc's on the same desktop, but the problem is that now if you go into add/remove programs on the desktop (Win XP) it has multiple enteries of my program being installed. I wasn't able to figure out where the script for this is. Can someone please help me out! Thanks!

Seemed to have figured it out for Devstudio 9. No entries go in add/remove programs, and re-running the install does not prompt for repair/modify/blah.

function OnMoveData()
number nResult, nMediaFlags;
begin

// Don't install the DISK1COMPONENT if MAINT_OPTION_NONE was specified.
if( MAINT_OPTION = MAINT_OPTION_NONE ) then
FeatureSelectItem( MEDIA, DISK1COMPONENT, FALSE );
endif;

// Show Status
// Note: Start status window at 1 in case CreateInstallationInfo call
// is lengthy.
SetStatusWindow( 1, "" );
Enable( STATUSEX );
StatusUpdate( ON, 100 );

// Move Data
nResult = FeatureTransferData( MEDIA );

// Disable Status
Disable( STATUSEX );

end;
