Hello Everyone,

We have a team of people who take the install shield projects that we make and use them to package our products. The problem is that sometimes the people who use it to create CD's and the like are not very technical and sometimes click the wrong spot and have before accidentily backspaced in the code or whatever and it takes me a hour or so before I see the missing comma etc.

Is there anyway to make it where they just drop in the files to package a sort of half way created package???

Or is there away to set permissions on the code so that they cannot even access the code??

Thanks in advance for your responses.
Bobby

them a command-line script to build your installation so they don't need to open the InstallShield GUI at all?

Or just set the write permissions of all files they don't need to change to read-only?

Or give them the installation package to build but just delete it once they're done with it and maintain your own version?

HTH,

Tom
