Hi,

We are upgrading our installer from 4.52 to 5.0 version.

On Windows 2003 server, when uninstaller.exe is launched it gives an error saying that "The instruction at 0x77f4831d referenced memory at 0x00422384. The memory could not be written" Click Ok to terminate.

ISMP 4.52 used to work on Windows Server 2003 without any problem.

I observed that ISMP 5.0 Service Pack 1 was released. Do I need to upgrade to that ?

I would appreciate any help on this.

Thanks,
--Gopi.

Hi all,

I am able to launch the uninstaller using java and that worked.

It looks like the problem is in creation of uninsatller.exe on Windows Server 2003.

We are currently using JRE 1.1.8 version. I also tried with JRE 1.3.0 but the problem is same.

I would appreciate your help.

Thanks & Regards.
