Hi

After a frustrating fight for days with StringComparisonBeanConditions I have a detail which I wish to share. I assume it is a bug, at least the behaviour is more than awkward:

If you want to test for a character sequence at the end of a string (e.g. "javac") the compareText attribute is set to .*javac$ and the operation is set to "GNU Regular Expression". So far so good.

The weird thing is that this will not work unless you append a # (hash) at the end of the source attribute so it will look like
$W(<mysourcebean>.<beanattribute>)#

Can anyone explain this? Leaving out the # will make it fail.
