How do you detect if the user has or has not selected a subfeature?

I have an installer User Input Panel that I want to be shown only if a certain nested sub feature is to be installed. I can't do it off install type since within a Custom install it might or might not be selected (this is how the tutorial showed it).

I expect it's some $Z(name.property) for some Z, name, and property, but I can't find it in the doc.

I'm still checking out the new function in 5.0 but I don't think you're going to find that kind of info without writing your own bean. I'm sure that there's several ways to approach it. One way that comes to mind would be to create a custom Wizard Condition that would return True or False depending on the value of the Beans selected property.

Perhaps see if $P(featureBeanId.active) is "true" or "false"? Or perhaps see InstallShield KB article Q105638, at http://support.installshield.com/kb...

$P(bean24.active)

is what I am looking for. It varies with user input to the custom install checkbox and it is case sensitive.
