I made my install create a registry entry, but I would like a space in the name....When I use a space the registry entry does not get created. When I change the space to a dash then it works fine....Any ideas?

Hmmm... Using the ISMP 5.0 version of the Win32 Registry Update bean, the registry data you mentioned was written during installation and removed during uninstallation; what OS version are you using?

I'm using ISMP Version 5.00 B278, and I installed on winXP Pro and win2000 Pro.

My test was with Windows 2000, too, with (I think) Sun's 1.2 JVM; is there a log file created? Could it be a Regedit refresh problem?

I didn't get any log file, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't just a refresh problem since when I use the dash I can see it in the registry straight away. Oh, I was using sun 1.4 beta java (and I've seen a few other weird things with this version...like my browser locking up when displaying some applets)

We've changed things around now, and are quite happy using a dash in the name for name...I'll probably play with it later on (maybe go back a version of java)

Thanks for looking into it for me.
