View Full Version : WizardAction's based on installed components?

In my installer you can pick what features to install, say A, B, and/or C.

Now, say the user just installs A, but then runs the installer at some later time to install B.

How can I detect that A is already installed? I have various wizard actions that I only want to execute for A when it's installed the first time, but not if it's already installed and the installer has been invoked to install some other feature.

There's a knowledge base article Q105543 that talks about detecting components installed from other ISMP installers, but does that also apply to the situation I'm describing? Or is there a simpler way (ie. non-custom bean) to determine if a feature has already been installed?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks, that sounds like what I want.

But, the link doesn't worked. I've tried a few variations on it, but I can't seem to located the right url.

Can you double-check the link?
