Workstation update

Hi,

What is the suggested use of Update Service for a number of workstations (I mean the differential setups by IS Professional 7)?
Is it neccessary for every workstation user to download a patch (or patches!)?
Is it possible to use patches downloaded on a selected workstation by means of this service?

The ISUS is designed as a point-to-point service. Meaning, each user downloads and installs his own updates. Having said that, the ISUS also does allow the end-user to download and save the update. So if a user at a company want to download the patch once to save bandwidth and appy it on multiple machine, the user can do that.
