I have a DLL that I have set to be self registered. On uninstall, the file isn't deleted and isn't unregistered. I assumed by marking the file as self registered, it would uninstall and unregister the file. Does something else need to be configured in ISX for this to occur?

Is the file marked as Shared?

The file is not marked as shared.

Check to see if your file is listed in the registry at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDLLs

If it has an outstanding ref count here, MSI would not remove the file.

I was just checking that section of the registry when you replied. That was the problem. Thanks for your help! :-)
