Hi,

I have a question about shortcuts. I want to add a Start menu shortcut to a folder, but ISX only lets us select files to add to the shortcuts.

How do I add a shortcut to a folder to the Start menu?

Thanks in advance.

You can cheat :)

1. Create a new "Shortcut to an Existing file"
2. In the resulting dialog select [StartMenuFolder]
3. Press OK without entering a file name
4. Give the shortcut and icon
5. Build and install

I don't see this working
The resulting dialog per step 2 allows selecting files only (not folders)
Am I missing something?

Thx

You can use the option "New shortcut to preexisting file" which you get after right-click.
