Dear all,

I am new to the installshield s/w. I have two applications in the setup file. one application will be copied into the directory user selects and other application should be copied to windows startup directory (whether it is windows NT, XP, ME or 98) so that when computer boots up the application is launched automatically.

Setup should take care of startup directory automatically. Is it possible to hard core the one of the application path in setup?

I am using InstallShield Express.

Can anybody help me out, how can I do it?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Startup folder:
Go to the file view and right click on the destination.
Select [StartupFolder] from the list of predefined folders.

Installation folder:
You can set the installation directory from the public property INSTALLDIR (default value: [ProgramFilesFolder]Your Company Name\Your Product Name).
This can be found under General Information.

Regards,
Marco
