Internal Failure 0x80070057

I have a setup that is generating an error message before it ever gets to the welcome screen.
The error box is titled--Internal Failure and the box reads
Error Number: 0x80070057
Description:

I only get this error on random machines, has enyone seen this or have any idea what it takes to fix it?

Unfortunately, I have had the same situation, but not on any machines in-house. Have you learned anything new on this error?

Client is running W2K, IE 5.5

I was able to recreate a full build and it works on machines that were displaying the error 0x80070057. After reviewing the post from Wizzix at http://community.installshield.com/s...ght=0x80070057, I remembered that I did create a differential build, but not after an update of InstallShield.

Instead of sending out new CD's to clients, we sent the 'engine32.cab' from the full build and it has taken care of the install/uninstall problem.
