Shortcut properties not editable under Win98

When the Shortcut is created under Win98 and you try to change the properties of the shortcut with the explorer, all properies are grayed and you can not change anything

the shourtcut works, though

has anybody seen this before, is there a solution for this?

(i use isdev 7.01 german + basic msi)

Is the shortcut advertised?

advertising is possible,
but its a full local installation

In the Developer IDE, if the shortcut Advertised attribute is set to Yes, the shortcut property will not display much information about the shortcut, see the attached jpg. It is the expected behavior of an advertised shorcut. When the attribute is set to No, you will have the shortcuts you used to have.
