    Question How do I install the MDAC/Jet merge module

    I got a notice that there were some new items to include with my InstallShield 7.03 Developer suite. I went there and discovered that two of them is MDAC 2.7 and Jet 4. However, all it said was Learn more, which was OK, but it didn't really help me figure out where to put it, if I downloaded it.

    Additionally, I checked on my PC for all *.MSM files, and found two primary locations for InstallShield. I'm still not sure where these new .MSM files should go.

    Where are they intended to go to?

    Merge Modules are located first in [InstallDir]\Modules\i386 (mostly: C:\Programme\InstallShield\Developer\Modules\i386)

    copy the merge modules in this directory and restart installshield developer. then the you are able to use the new modules.
