    BOOL CLASSNAMEGOESHERE::OnNewInquire(LPNEWCPLINFO lpNewCPlInfo)
    {
    // LoadResourceDLL();

    lpNewCPlInfo->dwSize = (DWORD)sizeof(NEWCPLINFO);
    lpNewCPlInfo->dwFlags = 0;
    lpNewCPlInfo->dwHelpContext = 0;
    lpNewCPlInfo->lData = 0;
    lpNewCPlInfo->hIcon = LoadIcon(
    CCplAppletManager::GetInstanceHandle(), MAKEINTRESOURCE( m_nIconID ) );
    lpNewCPlInfo->szHelpFile[ 0 ] = '\0';

    LoadString( m_hResInst, m_nNameID, lpNewCPlInfo->szName, 32 );
    LoadString( m_hResInst, m_nDescID, lpNewCPlInfo->szInfo, 64 );

    // FreeResourceDLL();
    return TRUE;
    }

    Be carefull using a cpl file as it will be locked when the control panel
    is up. Your uninstall may wish to close the control panel. Make doubly
    sure that your control panel applet does not leave any resource dlls
    open... because it may cause you some misery later on... in fact I
    regret the day we ever decided to use a control panel applet ever... it
    has been a gigantic headache.

    Regards,
    Oscar
