Component uninstalled during Patch
During release of QuickPatch, I have detected that two components which are basically editing xml files are being uninstalled! Looking at the Log file, tells me the following:
“Component: Directory.SafRun.exe.config.Changes; Installed: Local; Request: Local; Action: Absent
Component: Directory.exe.config.Changes; Installed: Local; Request: Local; Action: Absent”
The above is strange due to the face that the these components are:
1)Defined as Permanent
2)Having the condition Not(PATCH Or MSIPATCHREMOVE)
3)And having “Revaluate condition” attribute set as Yes.
