I have a couple more questions I hope you can help with.

I'm running a pilot for our team and I'm looking at how to handle an application's progress once it's been packaged, sent for testing and then fails testing and is returned to packaging, requiring re-work.

In Scenario 1:

Obviously, the app can be rolled back through it's workflow stages - Back the way it arrived at the current workflow, but I have a question if we use this method.

If we capture data using an WFM "Data Entry" page at the "Testing" workflow, will the captured data from the "Testing" workflow be 'lost' when the App is rolled back to a previous workflow ?

In Scenario 2:

We currently use Branch & Merge techniques on the template workflow.

Can the Branch facility be made to Merge back into a preceeding workflow phase rather than a subsequent workflow phase ?

i.e. If the reason that testing failed was because of something in the "Deployment Tool" workflow phase being incorrect, could the Testing Workflowphase "Data capture" of [Reason for failure]="Deployment Tool" make the MERGE action back to the "Deployment Tool" workflow phase which is several workflow phases earlier than the "Testing" workflow phase ?
