Hallo everybody,
what's new in this old problem with Quick Patch:
FIX: QuickPatch Attempts To Reinstall All Features

I have Developer 8 with service pack 2, I tried all recommendations from this forum (with SetupIni.exe, etc.)
- but I have still the problem.

I'm having the same problem here. I've created a quick patch with Developer 8 SP2 however when I run it the Patch still tries to reinstall all features. I've tried the workaround available, but it didn't help at all.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Can we patch the higher version file with lower version file?
If not do we have any work around solution for this kind of patching?
