    MergeModule Failure

    I have a simple Windows Install

    When I add two MM Objects (comctl32.ocx and comdlg32.ocx) I get a build error:

    Adding Object: DefaultFeature\New Merge Module Holder Object 1.
    Merging Windows Common Controls ActiveX Control DLL: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\COMCTL32.MSM
    Merging Microsoft Component Category Manager Library: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\COMCAT.MSM
    Merging Microsoft OLE 2.40 for Windows NT(TM) and Windows 95(TM) Operating Systems: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\OLEAUT32.MSM
    Merging CMDialog ActiveX Control DLL: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\COMDLG32.MSM
    Merging Microsoft Component Category Manager Library: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\COMCAT.MSM
    Merging Microsoft OLE 2.40 for Windows NT(TM) and Windows 95(TM) Operating Systems: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\OLEAUT32.MSM
    Merging : Object Guid - {8DF791DA-D5C6-4FC9-B5B5-09486B424E70}
    Error - 1
    Description - Incorrect function.

    File - D:\BldRoot\source\ObjectsPro\VCWizards\MergeModuleObj\MergeModule.cpp
    Line Number - 1691

    When I have only one MM object (either of these two) I do not get an error.

    Any clues?

    AW

    I solve this problem by dividing my objects in more then one Merge Module Holder. Not smart but it works.
