Hi,

I installed Dev 7.0 (Sp4), and now when I build my project, IS hangs when it reaches "Extracting COM data...". I've read several threads regarding this problem, but they either pertain to an older version (ex. 7.02) or did not completely provide a solution.

Presently, when this problem occurs (i.e the hang), I basically end that task "IsRegSpy.exe" using Task Manager. This un-block the build process, but it's a drastic move.

Is there a way to generate more detail as to which component is causing the problem? Any solution?
