Question Suppressing reboot and scheduling reboot

    1. During installation (after Progress Dialog), I run another Windows Installer. Is there any way to prevent that installer from restarting the computer?

    2. How can I schedule a reboot? Microsoft refers to a ScheduleReboot action, but is that available in Express?

    To add a scheduled reboot:
    1. Go to the Custom Action View
    2. Right click on root node and select "Add from Gallery -> Schedule Reboot at End"

You will have to tell the other msi you are launching to not reboot the setup. See if you can set the REBOOT property to "ReallySuppress" in the child msi you are launching.

Oh boy I feel stupid. I really try to research my question before asking it, but this one just slipped by me. I never noticed that Add from Gallery option.

Since I developed the other installer in InstallShield Express, I can set the REBOOT property in that installer.

    Thanks for the help.
