    layout.bin missing

I've made an installation using ISP 6.1. It works fine on Win2000, WinXP, but some clients complain about a missing file layout.bin. As far as I know this has been the sole installaion runnning on a Win98SE when the user gets a message saying "Please insert disk 1 that contains the file layout.bin". The dialog also contains an edit box (labelled "Path") that shows a nonexistent path on the system. The client also says that he has found the path where the setup has extracted the installation files but the layout.bin was not there. I made sure the file is in the installation package and tested the installation - it worked fine. Any ideas or workarounds?

Are you packaging your setup into a single self-extracting executable? If so, what version of PackageForTheWeb are you using. You might want to take a look at our knowledge base, which can be found at:

and search for that article ID Q107661 PRB: Please Insert Disk 1 That Contains the File layout.bin. Hope this helps.
