VS.NET Hangs For Various Reason when using ISX 4 Integrated.

Hi,

I just installed the new version of ISX 4. I like the VS.NET integrated layout very much. But it seems to hang my VS.NET often and pin the CPU at 100%. I'm using VS.NET Enterprise Architect and Windows XP SP1.

Please help!

That's strange. We tested it intensely on both Win2K and WinXP with VS .NET.

How much RAM do you have?
What is the speed of your processor?
Do you have multiple instances of VS .NET or Express open?
Does it hang when doing one particular operation or during various operations?
Do you have a Developer (or and eval of Developer) on this machine?
Do you have McAffee 7 installed?
Do you experience the same problem when using Express outside VS .NET?

To answer your questions:

How much RAM do you have?

512 MB.

What is the speed of your processor?

Athlon 1.47 GHz.

Do you have multiple instances of VS .NET or Express open?

No.

Does it hang when doing one particular operation or during various operations?

Various operations, even clicking the Help menu in VS.NET caused this once.

Do you have a Developer (or and eval of Developer) on this machine?

No, this is the only InstallShield product. I did previously have ISX 3.54.

Do you have McAffee 7 installed?

No, but I do have Mcafee Virus Scan Online installed.

Do you experience the same problem when using Express outside VS .NET?

No, seems to work fine.

Any ideas?
