Files still being compressed on CD install

I am using 5.1 and am creating a CD installation. Even though the folder options specify Compressed = NO and "Data As Files" is checked, I am still getting CAB files for my data. Am I missing something obvious?

You are missing something, but it's not very obvious. It took me a while to realize it too. Here is what you need to do:

In the media build wizard, where you have selected Data as Files, click "advanced" button. Another dialog will come up. In that dialog all your components will be listed. Now "click" directly on each of the icons (not the text) with the mouse, and it will turn from a cabinet icon into a folder icon.

Now they will not be compressed when you build the media.
