Bde Alias Path

I need to define an alias in my install. My db files (paradox) will be ion the INSTALLDIR, chosen by the client.
My question is: how should I define the alias path so it will refer to the right apth ? May I use the INSTALLDIR var, and if yes, where and how ?

Hi Gil,

If you are using Express 3.53, then you may use [INSTALLDIR] property in the Alias to provide the path. This functionality is not in the older versions of Express and hence you should make sure that you are using Express 3.53.
